- Introduction to Zazen (open in person for those fully vaccinated), Tuesdays, 7:30PM to 8:45PM. (Optional Zoom Intro is offered on Saturdays at 10AM by appointment.)
- Daily Zazen (Seated Meditation) Monday – Friday, 5:30 AM, 1 hr; – Zoom Link
- Saturdays, 7:00 – 8:30 AM – Zoom Link – after Saturday zazen there will be a Zoom Council
- Sundays, 6:30 PM, 1 hr; Monday & Wednesday, 7:30 PM, 1 hr. – Zoom Link
- Sunday Dharma Talk and Dialogue (usually the 1st and 3rd Sundays) 7:30 PM, 1 hr. – Zoom Link
- Chobo-Ji offers BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, People of Color) sitting groups, led by Rev. Seifu (Anil) Singh-Molares and limited to BIPOC individuals. All BIPOC are welcome to these groupings, and no experience is required or assumed. The meetings are held by appointment. Please contact Seifu at mailto:anil@echomundi.com for details.

Summer Sesshin: June 23 – 30, 2023:
We welcome both in-person and Zoom participation to our seven day Summer Sesshin. Full time participation is expected (tentive schedule). If you are not able to attend in person or for all seven days you may attend by zoom for any portion that meets your schedule, but some participation each day is expected. Zoom participation requires Zoom Registration. Zoom participation will also be available for those who wish to attend morning (5:00 – 6:30 AM) and/or evening (7:30 – 8:30 PM) zazen Saturday through Thursday: use the same registration link.
The cost of the sesshin is $300, plus a contrabution or $10 – $20 per day if staying on campus. If attending by Zoom please make a donation that fits your budget and level of participation. You can use PayPal or leave a check in the bowl at the entrance to the zendo. (Using PayPal, please make your donation to zen@choboji.org, and note that your payment is for Spring Sesshin.)
We begin at 5:30 PM Friday and conclude around 11:00 AM the following Friday. Please help us get an accurate count by sending an application by June 15, and let us know if you would like to attend in person. Participants in the zendo are required to test themselves 72 hours after the start. Participants flying to Seattle, please test yourselves before travel. We will serve shared meals. Anyone experiencing flu or cold-like symptoms should not attend in-person.
